You could join the players on sunday as they lead a crusade against the undead and build a new unholy assassin order. Or the monsterous group planning there conquest of the world and destruction in every way. Watch as the world around you expands from the classical era of the greeks to the warring ages. Enjoy the multiple players running world leaders throughout the world that seems to continuously have strange plots going on. For the cheese shall be won by a random player, while another convinces a nation that plagues are the new "in" thing. Make your mark on this world, or help your party complete there goals, the choice is yours!   Bit about the dungeon master, been a dm for this group for like 5 years now. We have done around 9 campaigns, multiple holiday one shots, and been changing the world lore i've been writing about the world ever since. I am an ex game designer who has taken his open world rpg he was building and put it into a history book for my players to shape and build upon. This will be my first 3.5e campaign in many years, so im rusty but i think it will be a good time for new players.    Must have a sense of humor, and fully if you have never played we will teach you and learn as we go. Almost the entire group is new to it and trying it out, so feel free to throw your hat in even if your new.  Requirements below: Pitch me a unique character idea that your interested in running for either the normal sunday races, or monday as a monster turned sentient or born sentient. The group of players will decide based on the most interesting.  We thank all who apply!

My ideas: Monday: A lazy golem that would hide it's human-like conciousness and intelligence of their evil creator just so it could work less but was terrible faking it, and surprisingly, their creator fell for it and never knew until he died at the hands of some adventurers and in his last moments saw the golem fighting and declaring to avenge him.   I will put my idea for sunday here, although there are some sundays I am not available at this hour: Clumsy gnome that entered the library of a Fey and tripped over some furniture, starting a domino's effect that ended with a magical item that exploded the place, the Fey caught her in the scene and now makes her search for hidden knowledge and books all over the world. (Suggested Class: Archivist or Fey Warlock)   Warning: I am a complete newbie to Roll20 and TTRPG in general, I just played 4 sessions in a homebrew system through discord some months ago and started watching all I could about different scenarios and systems. English is my second language. Edit: I was seeing some other posts and saw a lot of people introducing themselves, sorry if I am being late or too abrupt ^^" . 20 years old, college student, BRT time zone, she/her, I actually thought about a lot of character ideas, choosing only one was hard, I didn't know if you wanted monster like Goblinoids and Giants or more... Nightmare, Mimic and etc.
I am interested in playing a D&D 3.5e game also.
Please as a reminder, to read the entirety of the post before respond.  Still open, we plan to decide in a week or two.
Hi. I have a couple of questions I hope you might answer before I "apply." How do you do character creation? Roll? Points? Other? If roll, which method and if points, how many? All of those questions weigh heavily in what kind of character I'd be likely to build.
Hello, i do a roll 4d6 drop the lowest d6, you can reroll one stat for free. Character creation is chosen currently for monsters by any monster watered down if needed with an evolution system that allows you a custom race change as every five levels or to advance to the next cr level creature in your line. Such as a beholder to a hive queen when hitting level 20. Normal characters can choose whatever race they want that exists in the world have a whole lore page for it but ill give you the skinny on the race if you dont like to read. And beyond that, currently the normal players are doing fire giants that are mostly half fire giant and half something else. Mostly other giant races, and then the monsters are a world turtle, a beholderkin, and a half fey creature. Do with those as you will!
How are you handling dragons? are they monsters in your world? 3.5 was built around the idea that pcs should suffer a heavy price for playing monsters and it appears as if you are house-ruling that away (making them actually fun to play imho). I'd be interested in possibly joining the monster game as a dragon RAW-artificer with the alternate form feats from Eberron running around in half-dragon form. Nicole Bolas, time dragon (prefers term epoch dragon), artificer. Nicole is a 'hatchling runt' with strange ideas about the purpose to time dragons in the multiverse. She believes she was born to 'consume' magic, solidifying it into items. There was no better prime material plane to try this out then the one she finds herself in. Her dragon soul appears to be damaged (corrupted by Tiamat) leading her to be much smaller than a typical time dragon, and also giving her a personality more in line with human norms. For this reason she tends to want to be in human or half dragon form. Her goal is to 'corner the market' on 'the time mortals spend doing stuff' with the possibility of eventually creating a 'magical social epidemic' where all the mortals stare at effigies to Asgorath's greatness for large portions of their day for validation.

Hi. I'd be interested in the Sunday game. I have two ideas for characters, largely because one is highly dependent on getting two very strong attribute scores AND one poor one or it isn't worth doing. The other can work with one decent score.  Cowbell, the half-orc barbarian. Why is he named Cowbell? Because he doesn't really know his real name. He's a slow hulking mass with the mind of a child that thinks he's a bard and his instrument of choice is . . . if you guessed a cowbell, you would be correct! So, he's mechanically a barbarian, but really doesn't think of himself this way. He thinks when fights break out its just play and probably won't rage until one of the party members (I'd probably have him latch on to one or two in particular) gets hurt. His rage is really more of a temper tantrum. But I don't think he'd be fun unless I happened to get scores good enough for a big STR and CON and one score that could be a properly weak INT, no more than 8 and that feels high. Of course, in 4d6, drop one, unless the DM prohibits it, I don't see any reason on one roll I can't drop the highest instead. ;) I know attributes aren't necessary to play a character or class, but in this case I think I'd be hamstringing myself (and somewhat the party) enough by my roleplay restrictions that he'd have to have these extremes to have any positive effect.  Alternatively, I would play Six Jones, an actual bard, probably either human, half-elf, or elf. I'd have to think about that. He would be an agent of some secret society.  If you play in Faerun, probably the Harpers or something very similar to that. This would be unbeknownst to the other players because his mission would be to aid them in their goal either by keeping an eye on the party or using the party as a path to the goal. Details of this would be pretty dependent upon whether the campaign is a continuous mission or a series of independent adventures. The thing is, Six doesn't want to be an agent. It's the family line for generations and forced upon him by his dad. But Six just wants to perform! I mean, he didn't have his custom lyre equipped with a bitchin' whammy bar to be a spy. Am I right? So, both to remain detached as an agent and because he really doesn't want to be an adventurer, he tells the party he's not a participant, just a chronicler there to make the heroes famous. He would help as subtly as possible. It would be awesome if one of the other party members was a bit naive and really never noticed what Six did was being helpful and thought the effects just coincidental.
