The Propchey of the Tower's fall has finally come to fruition, the nearby lands coated in ash and mayhem from the burning tower. It is unknown who managed to get past all the defenses of the ancient tower, but the tower is still burning, lasting for over a week. The Crimson King of the Crimson Lands, Vord Farntus, has called all adventurers within the blood-soaked lands to investigate the tower as many artifacts, magic items, gold, ancient secrets, and sealed villains dwelled within it before its demise. Those hoping to gain glory, knowledge, power, prestige, or coin have begun the journey toward the tower for the first time in over two hundred years. Will your band of ruffians, outcasts, holy warriors, arcane casters, and thieves manage to survive their journey to the tower? Or will as many tales end within these lands as a bitter story for bards to tell to warn others of the demise of those foolish to travel to the burning tower for years to come? Disclaimer : This is a homebrew module designed for level 1 or 3 starts, going up to levels 10-12, depending on the party's choices and actions. There will be a session 0 that will address character creation, stats, homebrew rules and expand on the premise. The module consists of four major arcs that the party will explore during their travels, but how they trigger or step into each arc will be up to the party's decisions and actions. While this is a module, it will strive to thrive to provide a living world where actions have consequences and a "grey-themed" world where good and bad choices are blurred at times. Party size is intended for 2-5 players; exceeding 5 players must be due to an established group looking to play together. Tools: We will be using Discord for audio (video is optional), a website for audio tracks, and roll20 for visuals. We will be using scripts to ease the quality of life for playing on roll20 to speed up roleplay checks and mechanics in combat. Ai-generated art will be available for players to create their envisioned character as well as for custom art of magic items, NPCs, villains, and locations. The DM: I go by Cry or Cryptic as my online handle is easier for me to respond to online; I am a full-time student finishing my bachelor's next year while running sessions full-time. I have been running 5th edition for the last six years, on roll20 for the last four years, gaining experience and knowledge of how to improve the system for the enjoyment of my players. I love setting the scenes, making them feel as close to real for my players, and offering dynamic NPCs to interact with to offer a breathing world to challenge and embrace. I currently run for over 50 players on a weekly to bi-weekly basis for homebrew campaigns and 5th edition modules that graciously keep coming back for more! Looking forward to meeting and rolling the dice with you! Payment: This comes from the amount of time that I invest in my worlds, NPCs, villains, and your characters to be a part of it! While also aiding my family and school loans, I am entirely grateful for each contribution that allows me to manage all that I do. For session 0 and your first two sessions, whether you start at the beginning or join one of the arcs later on, are free to ensure that you are enjoying the story and your other party members and wish to continue before taking on the financial commitment. Payment discloser will be provided at the bottom following roll20 guidelines. Additional Information: This post accepts players from inexperienced to battle-hardened. If you are applying individually, it can take up to one month on average to get a game started. If an established group of family and/or friends applies, then they will get an additional two sessions for free, making the first month of DND free!
