Old West BOOTHILL game looking for players-GM for more years than I want to say Pre-Gen or create your own chracter Day and Time is flexible

This game is open to all. It is old west themed and relies heavily on role playing.  A forewarning:  +++ dated words and phrases may be used from the context and timeframe of the old Western United States which may not be culturally appropriate in a current timeline. +++  New players not familiar with the game are very welcome. We will be playing a relaxed version of Boot Hill, second edition, by Gary Gygax and Brian Blume which was released in 1979. As your character will be living in June of 1870, there are technology limitations from that time, and weapons and items developed after that year will not be used in our game.   The GM will help in setting up the starting player characters with additional family background and any unique items or goals they may have, but no major plots or goals will be driven by the GM. This is not a "module" but an open world with many options. Just to point out the obvious, it is possible that any player in the game could really have their character killed by a single well-placed bullet.  All characters begin by getting off the stagecoach in the mythical town of Vicksburg, which is near the western panhandle section of the Indian Territory in the United States. They have been cooped up with several other player characters/NPC's in a very dusty, rough and bouncing stagecoach for the past 2+ weeks to get to this exact point in their life. Each character can create their own actions as they see fit and fit into (or not fit into) this dusty town at their own discretion. You can use a random pre-generated character suited to the game, OR, make one of your own. In addition, you can drop into the game and play on your own timeframe as you see fit, for as long as you wish. Just let me know ahead of time when you want to play, and I will try and accommodate you.

Man this does sound awesome. Plus I am an old ACW buff as well as a southerner of old Alabama.
Thanks Me also. A definite change of pace from normal. My Civil War confederate ancestor is buried in Madison County in Alabama. Let me know when you need a character and if 12-3 Saturday is good
This sounds super fun. Me and several friends (about 4-5 of us) are looking to break into tabletop gaming with a knowledgeable and helpful DM. We would be very interested in this game.
perfect. looking for maybe 5 total. I will send you a link in a private message.  Your friends are already signed up with roll20?  free account is all that is needed. December 3 saturday still good for you? I am thinking pre-generated characters but if you want to make one, let me know.
Interesting. I was looking at an old copy of original Boot Hill last night. But just for inspiration for a Down Darker Trails COC weird west thing I want to do. but running a little bit of Boot Hill is tempting as well. But as a GM I like to just set up my own stuff and situations. But good luck!
