FULL TIME DEVELOPMENT!

Kudos to the roll20 team on designing a awesome versatile virtual table top. I see we reached a subscriber level to support full time development! I'm looking forward to the improvements to come. Not really the place for this but while I am on topic my most desired improvement short list would be 3D token tracking (for flying tokens and height restrictions) and perhaps a 2d rendered 3d perspective (and maybe in the future optional full 3D rendering for those that can handle it?? *grin*) and the ability to show\hide a token from specific players (to better game play invisibility\see invis, hide\perception, ect). Keep up the awesome work!
This sounds like you are making some suggestions for features. Would you like me to transfer this to the Suggestions & Ideas forum?

Indeed, Loki. They actually reached that 'full time' mark a while ago, maybe a few months ago (from memory). I believe the last 2 or 3 major update cycles have come since they reached that benchmark of support. Note that there's still room on the thermometer for the Support level to grow higher & development pace will be able to be accelerated even more greatly then.
Perhaps some subscribers dropped before I joined a few weeks ago. Before I became away for roll20 and joined it was under the "full-time" mark. I am part of a group of 6 or so with 2-3 rotating DMs, so I'll do my part to get that meter up to the kick-@$$ level of new\improved features =P @Sarah - The suggestions I have made above have been raised already in the past so no need to really post them again unless you think it bears merit re-opening the topic for discussion. The only real change there is the argument that 3D rendering is a complex beast and will limit who can join your game, which I counter with; give us a toggle for 2D birds eye view (current) and a simple 2D rendered side view and a client side option to render it in 3D if you guys want to take on that beast of a project =)

Okay, okay now we are talking. The meter has moved past the "Full Time Gig" stage and into the stage called... +3 To Growth! That is a good sign indeed. Good point. https://app.roll20.net/account/supporter/?minbarma...
Huzzah for the Roll20 team! Congratulations on a successful launch. Your persistence is starting to pay off. I recently met a new group of FTF gamers, and half were already familiar with Roll20. Good sign.
While the 3d token idea is kind of neat (not sure on performance) why not just use one of the bars for height? If flying comes up often in your game I'm sure you could use the third bar as a "feet in air" stat (and if you wanted to get fancy you could have the API make tokens a bit bigger the higher they fly!). I agree with the second suggestion, I'd love to see more permission options in general, and the ability to set default permissions things.
