Greetings Adventurers! Calling those who seek to quest in a community where fun is the number one aim! Looking to join a party to tackle that module you’ve been wanting to play? Or would you rather dive into a homebrew setting that’s constantly expanding? Smythology does both! Smythology has been running games professionally since 2020, but the world of Smearth is over 16 years in the making! World history spans multiple Ages of Time, going back to the Primordial State and stretching far into the future in the Age of Reconnection. When a new party forms they pick the theme for the campaign to have, and the DM suggests different places and points in time that would work within world history. Playing in different Ages could mean a limited or expanded access to things like technology, magic, and even character knowledge of the way the Smythology Superverse works. What to expect at my table/in my games: 1. Fun is the number one aim! 2. No jerks. I run inclusive games that respect players' boundaries. If something shouldn't be said at the table, it won't be. 3. Custom made battlemaps, world maps, etc. made by me! 4. Art commissions of party members, powerful items, and/or foes. 5. A humongous lore compendium available to peruse in your browser or download the One Note program to have a crispy version that includes history, maps, legends, and all sorts of other things to immerse yourself more in Smythology. 6. Monthly contests and/or events! Each month there's something new to do on the Smythology Discord server! Win free games, commissioned artwork, or more! 7. All WotC materials are fine to use by players, with homebrew content being added to the world by the DM. Cool stuff about me you may want to know in regards to storytelling: 1. I have English and Writing degrees as well as TESL certification. 2. I've run several games that lasted for or have been playing for over a year, including multiple campaigns that have gone from level 1 to 20. 3. A D&D campaign isn't a DM vs Players scenario. I run games to find out what happens when we write a story together. (Though I still might kill your characters.) 4. Crafting legends from the ground up is one of my favorite things about D&D. Together we will watch your characters rise from humble backgrounds to those with their names recorded in the Hall of Heroes. 5. Roll20 Marketplace publisher. I currently have 3 adventures on the Roll20 Marketplace. Pricing: Game prices vary depending on the amount of work I do between sessions. I price sessions in three tiers; bronze, silver, and gold. Purchase four sessions to get a fifth session free! Bronze - $10 - Prewritten modules like Storm King's Thunder, or last minute one shots we throw together when the spirit of adventure hits. Silver - $15 - Ongoing, custom written campaigns. Featuring an entire world created by me! Custom maps, stories, monsters, items, and more all tailored to the party! Gold - $20 - Canon one shots. I have different one shots that change the world in some way or will have large consequences down the road. Most are only run one time to determine the fate of Smearth.
