European Fellowship - Friendly party for non-native speakers 💭

Greetings, intrepid travelers! As an enthusiastic RPG player based in Europe (Italy 🍕)  , I would like to form an inclusive community where rolling dice is accompanied by the joy of linguistic and cultural exchange. I'm quite fluent in English, but sometimes I speak gibberish. That's why  I would like to improve my language skills along with my role-playing skills. Of course, players and Dungeon Masters living outside of Europe are also invited, I set my search on this continent only for convenience of schedules (my time zone is GMT+1) It would be a fantastic bonus to have a Dungeon Master who is native speaker or at least super-fluent in English, ready to assist and guide players who might stumble upon language challenges (like me, lol). We can form a group where we can play whatever we like, maybe in the form of oneshots or short campaigns, maybe change rules if we prefer. My biggest difficulty is pronouncing the word WEDNESDAY correctly.

I have never played RPG with a non-Portuguese speaker, and I want to try it once! So, if we will be playing together, please be little patient with me. I'm also a cat dad! Previous experience includes different cRPG computer games so I'm familiar with the core concepts.

Name: Selintian Age: something over 30 and below 50 Language: First: German, Second: English ( pretty good listening wise, but little speaking experience), Third: Japanese Whether you prefer to join as a player or a master: Player Games i have experience in: The Dark eye (fells like ages), Forbidden Land ( playing since half a year weekly), but i am willing to  try out new systems if they seem to be interesting About me: I prefer to play long running campaign where i can develop my Charakters to its fullest (But One shotts are ok to see if i like a System).                    Also it would be nice if the Games session will be up to 8 houres long. Being a language learning Enthusiast, i quite like                    the Concept of developing speaking skills trough P&P I Prefer Roleplaying and dice orientet playing both alike. Sidenote: I suffer from a small form of Dyslexia, so please be understandingly about my writing skills.

So I'm quite new, but I would like to spend some more time with it. And as I'm not too inserted in TRPGs, so will I be a bother and a crazy blessing (as I try to think outside the box from time to time).

This may not interest anyone here and that is fine, but my Guilded server is currently looking for Europe- and Australia-based GMs to fill out our staff. I'm that rare thing - a British (and female) DM, with a GMT timezone.  So I'm posting here to indicate that I'm open to running a oneshot or something for you guys in the next week or so, or a potential future shortish campaign.  I'm just coming out of running a really long multi-year campaign, and my work life has become busier which makes things tricky at the moment.  I'm also used to running for new players, or for non-native English speakers (though honestly, most of the folks I've played with have had better English than they thought - just with accents that may puzzle Americans). - Name Precentrix (I'll give my real name if/when we play) - Age Nearly 40 (ahem) - Country of origin and first language Great Britain; native English speaker; my French also used to be really good (C1) but I haven't spoken it properly for years. - Whether you prefer to join as a player or a master As DM -  Offering to run oneshot(s) or a potential future short campaign (think in terms of weeks or months rather than years - I have a main group).  - Preferred game systems Confident running in D&D5e (have run 7 campaigns including one up to level 18); could probably run 3.5e or Pathfinder 1e (have played both a fair amount); would also happily run a game using OldSchool Essentials.  I'll also consider PF2e but I don't have the stuff for that.  I'm a standard fantasy type of person, though groups I've played with have varied from the heavy epic fantasy to "let's eat all the monsters".  - Something about you  I started DMing when our group's DM ghosted us about four sessions into my first campaign as an adult.  IRL, I'm a musician and music teacher.
