Hey there! ^_^ I am a casual roleplayer with experience in D&D 5e and a smattering of other random systems interested in getting back into TTRPGs after a hiatus. I'd love to do some DMing, however I've found that unless I know the group I'm DMing for it's nearly impossible to get over the anxiety that comes along with it (let's not talk about the chronic Anxiety TM in general). Hence not making a listing for a specific game. I would absolutely love to get a long-term group together and get to know each other as friends a bit before playing. I have a Wilds Beyond the Witchlight module on Roll20 I've been hoping to run at some point and various ideas for other non-D&D systems as well (Blades in the Dark, random 1-page TTPRGs, general PbtA systems, etc). As a DM, I definitely value RP more than combat, though as always each has its place. Very much Rule of Cool style with a special place in my little gremlin heart for incorporating players' backstories and making sure everyone feels connected to the story in some personal way. On the flip side I'm more than happy to also be a wide-eyed, excited adventurer in someone else's story! If multiple people in the group would like to DM, we could all rotate through playing each game. From the perspective of a queer, non-binary individual myself it's very important to me that everyone at the (virtual) table feels comfortable being themselves. This means that at minimum everyone participating should be respectful of pronouns and understand that others' voices may or may not match pre-defined stereotypes. If I am running the game, queer characters will exist as commonplace in society and that should not be a big deal. I am 28 and while everything in game should be kept PG-13 I would prefer if everyone joining was 21+ just so we're all relatively at the same maturity level and can relate to each other.
