Allowing Players to Access and Edit Character Bio & Info but not Character Sheet for NPCs

Hi all, I have a vast number of NPCs in my campaign journal that include NPC stats in their character sheet. I would like my players to be able access and edit the Bio & Info section without being able to see or edit the Character Sheet and stats, is this possible? Thanks,

Yes, edit the character, then "In Player's Journals" select all players.  For future reference:  "In Player's Journals" gives players permission to see the character and see the Bio & Info tab.  "Can Be Edited & Controlled By" gives players permission to see the Character Sheet tab, Attributes & Abilities tab, and edit the character.

To add to Gauss's accurate comment, the default situation is players won't be able to see the tabs you want to hide - they can only see the Bio tab. You have to deliberately add a player to the Can Be Edited And Controlled By entry for them to see those bits. So just don't do this. I don't think they'll be able to edit anything, but they can view the Bio tab.
Thanks for the replies. I was hoping they would be able to edit the About & Bio without having access to the Character Sheet but alas I don't think this is possible.

Lord DM,  What is the use case here? Perhaps it would be better to assign them a Handout, and then link the Handout to the character as needed? (Or put a handout  link in the Bio & Info tab.)

Consider that if players were able to alter the bio, they could change a characters name and rewrite or even delete o their entire description. Even if you trust your players totally, accidents can happen, and with multiple players able to access many character sheets, they are almost guaranteed.

Thanks, TL;DR No.  If a player has the ability to edit a sheet, they have access to view the full character sheet.  As the others have mentioned, a workaround would be to not give edit permission, but to give permission only to view the character sheet, and then place a link to [Handout X] in the bio text.  Put the character's bio in Handout X, and give players permission to edit that handout.  It's a little goofy but it will give you your desired results in the end.

(Or put a handout  link in the Bio & Info tab.) This is what I do for my campaigns.  This way I can show the picture of the NPC and share basic information without revealing other aspects such as class, skills, and abilities.  I label these starting with 'npc handout' which separates and groups them when looking for what handouts I have for the players versus other types of handouts I create.
