Hi I am JeffreyJames and I have been a tabletop gm for 7 years and on roll20 for 3 years. I record and then animate my games (poorly but quickly) and put them on youtube. This year I would like to record a more cooperative artists game where the players all draw their own characters and some of the NPCs. So I am looking for players that can fulfill these qualifications : -Be experienced with Tabletop roleplaying games or playing online and can be both serious and funny, talk in character and out of character, and can create rollplay with other players, not just the GM. -Can care about the teammates and make sacrifices to help other players. This is a story of heroes not evil murder hobos or selfish rouges who will to stab teammates in the back for loot. Groups of friends are encouraged to apply because rpg games among friends are better than random strangers who don't know or care about each other yet. -Any experience in acting, comedy, or improv, and can act excited and stoked to play the game, (if you're not excited to play a game the viewers are not going to be either). -Professional about gaming and still reference and have conversations about pop culture and music without getting into politics or political correctness or being a hater. -Drawing skills anywhere from -poor but willing to work hard- to -good and I am just going to throw some things together-. Be able to scan or submit clear pictures of your artwork to our discord. Characters Cartoons need to be drawn in black and white with a clear outline for cropping, so not a high level of detail would be required but each player would need to draw 5-10 images per session of their character and can have one or 2 colors filled in after scanning, think of cartoons like Dexters laboratory, Haggard the Horrible, the d&D cartoon , dragon ball z or cowboy bebop. We will also take turns drawing NPCs and robots and some backgrounds. This is very low production value so nothing has to be perfect. -Must have a good mic and internet connection to roll20 and have discord and google docs. -Must be willing to play a non 5E game, This is not D&D. Firewinds is a fair, easy to learn RPG system that allows for lots of role-play creativity and character development without class restrictions, with a targeted AC system where damage literally could cost you an arm and a leg. It has a quick worksheet to make a character in 10 minutes and be ready to start role playing. The magic system can help you grasp the force and improve your skills, make your attacks and defenses better, or even save your life. My Roll20 game has improved this year with new buttons and API outputs and its going to be faster and better than ever. The goal being to record and produce 1 episode per month . Every year I get better and faster at editing my videos, here is one of my latest videos from a public game I ran on Roll20 https://youtu.be/14dlw06mt9w?si=3XY3_1alK04nhayC . It's very low production value but is produced very quickly in my spare time. Last year I recorded 30 episodes but only got to animating 7 of them so far. Having your own youtube channel or stream is great and cross promoting is welcome. The setting, very similar to firefly and a little like star wars without the non human species, sorry no furries! you can message me on here and I can make a group and send you a discord invite for an interview. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am also interested in just joining and recording and editing someone else's game if you have a fun and funny group of friends and GM that already play in a game and just want someone else to join and do production work and artwork for the game. ======================================================
