We are a long term group of roleplayers who have lost a couple members due to happy life changes. We consistently meet on time or early every Saturday at 2pm est. We have played over 10 campaigns to full story completion almost all homebrew and each lasting 4-16 months. We discuss and respect boundaries and encourage character autonomy and story development. We also often chat between games about things happening between sessions to/by the characters. Right now we are trying a split set of stories, with one being for introducing and trying out potential new players. We usually use 5e or Savage Worlds and can help teach either system. Some of our ideas are typical, like a LOTR style fantasy or sci fi setting, and others are not, like playing modern teenagers with special destinies or talking animals. Often the games end up with deep overarching questions about life, morality, hard choices, etc. Yes, especially the ones where you're a talking mouse. Players often write short stories, create playlists, write music, make game art, etc because we have so much fun and get invested in the characters we make. It is never required, but is rewarded by the GMs. If this is sounding like the sort of group and playstyle you've been looking for, DM me for a pitch on the intro game. We are looking for folks interested in becoming long term members!
