New Greyhawk campaign begins January 7 2024 @ 1PM CST Bi-Weekly Free to play Need 4-5 players whether experienced at D and D or not. The village of Hommlet was designed by Gary Gygax for starter characters in the Greyhawk world. If you always wanted to play in Hommlet, now is your chance. Player characters will be rolled up from the 1st edition players book, and icons and rules will be provided. In the introduction to The Village of Hommlet , Gygax writes “there are wheels within wheels in Hommlet and the lands around, and behind each character there is another, the circles growing wider and the figures shadowy but very powerful.”
Hello, I am with 2 other people who are very interested in this campaign (a group of 3 in total, we are 25+ years old). We are relatively experienced with D&D and are very eager/passionate to play. We never miss a session of D&D, unless a dire emergency happens which is very very rarely the case. I have some questions I would like to ask you about this campaign. Is there any way I could contact you? The questions include - How often would the sessions be hosted per month? - How long will the sessions be? - What would happen if one player canceled? - Do you allow LIGHT home-brew? Thanks so much and I can't wait to hear back from you!
1st of all, thanks so much for the reply. 1 every other week unless a holiday or an agreement to aid the players changes the date. Jan 7, 21st, feb 4th, etc 2 i find the best range is wherever a good stopping point is between 2.5 and 3 hours. this can be changed if needed 3. if a player cancelled, we have to assume the others will continue on and play that day. The other player that is not playing could then pick up from his spot the next gameday. In most cases the player would be left in a "safe" spot from the game before, a camp or somewhere in the city, but it depends on how you quit the session. 4. not quite sure what "light" home-brew is. for example, i use a critical table that as far as i know has never been associated with any previous D and Drules. Anything that seem "fair" and "usable" i would certainly consider. Would LOVE to have you take part in the campaign. Here is a link to the main page, and if you launch you should see a whole bunch of icons you can use if you wish. https://app.roll20.net/join/16373065/jdq0Cw
