A decade ago the Second Inquisition hit the City hard, taking out the major players within the Sabbat who ruled there. In the last two years the Camarilla has begun to setup their own rule of the City to fill the power vacuum. The Anarchs, however, seeing open opportunity to creat a better life for kindredkind have returned to the city ensure a bastion of freedom for those who stalk the night. To do this the Anarchs will first have to put an end to the Camarilla and bring those within the City together while avoiding detection and potential destruction by the Second Inquisition. The nights are dark and full of many misadventures and the beast beast within lurks ever present. Will they be up to the task? Will it lead to all-out warfare or will they find a more creative and less pronounced way of achieving their end goals? The players in this campaign will create a Neonate vampire and seek to create a new Carthage in New York City, all while avoiding detection by the SI and ensuring not to fall to the dark temptations of their Bestial nature in order to create a new haven of freedom without oppression for kindredkind, a place where all are equal and none are beholden to another unless they choose to be. Please note that we are LGBTQ+ Friendly, have a zero tolerance policy on harassment and other obtrusive behaviors, the aim is to create a fun and safe environment for all players. We will be using Discord for voice and out of game communication. Roll20 will be used for character sheets, dice rolling and visual aids. We will be using the Vampire The Masquerade 5th Edition Rules set which uses a d10 system. In this game rolls will be called for when roleplay is not enough to determine the outcome (i.e. combat, intrigue, investigation, etc.) and requires a deeper investment of the characters abilities. All characters will be Neonates which are vampires only newly brought into undeath. Clans will be limited to the following: Toreador, Ventrue, Malkavian, Gangrel, Brujah, Tzimisce, Tremere, Lasombra, Nosferatu, Thin Bloods and Caitif. Characters from other games can be imported with ST approval, character creation will take place before game with Story Teller assistance. This game employs Session 0, lines and veils, and Safety Cards using the RPG - Safety Tools Add-on Provided by Roll20.
