
I verified that this problem doesn't seem to exist on firefox version 24.7.0 (64-bit), but on Chromium Version 37.0.2062.94 (290621) (64-bit), whenever you click on any character in the "Characters" section of the journal, CPU usage spikes up to 100% and remains that way until you exit the game or switch to another tab. I'll be honest... Chromium is by far my preferred browser, and should be using similar sources as Google Chrome (open source version of same browser). I haven't checked on google chrome itself yet, but I will follow up with that. For now, I can use firefox in my games - just wanted to make a note of this.
