Explorable Darkness memory doesn't work

Hello, I'm trying to use explorable darkness. I want my players to see in grey the areas they already explored. Problem is it only works above a certain line, rest of the map remains dark below this line and I have no idea why. Do you know what would cause this problem ? I tried reseting permanent and explorable darkness multiple times. As you can see on this picture, I get grey explored areas above the blue line (it does'nt correspond to any line I created on the map). Below the blue line, everything goes back to dark when I move the token. Can you help me fix this ? Thank you for reading me

Hi Martin! Is it possible that the bottom part of the map was inadvertently masked with Permanent Darkness instead of Explorable Darkness? They exist as different tabs on the same tool, so it's an easy mix-up. Try resetting Permanent Darkness and see if that clears the problem.

Just an FYI - ' Explorable Darkness memory' is called ' Explorer Mode ' by Roll20.   How are you checking Explorer Mode vision?  Is that the view from your GM account, and if so is it while you are logged in as GM or as a player; or is it from a Dummy Account?   One tricky part about Explorer Mode is that it is saved per player , not per token or per character. So if you have a map set up and as GM take a token that is controlled by all players and move it through the whole map before any players join, then they will not see any of the explored areas.  If you have Player A join the game and do the same thing, then Player A will see those explored areas, but Player B will not see those areas if they log in later. Separately, do you have any Dynamic Lighting lines that were created using the Freehand Tool?  If so, delete them and redraw them with the Polygon tool instead, as the Freehand tool can create errors across the whole map (the error won't necessarily show up where the line is).  If you think that is the case, copy the map, and delete all of the DL lines and redraw them and see if that fixes the issue.
Thank you for your answers, @keithcurtis I tried reseting Permanent darkness multiple times and it didnt change this weird line issue. @Jarren I think I drew all my Dynamic lighting lines with freehandtool ! That took me days since I have many big maps for my campain, if that's where the issue comes from that means I have a lot of work
The freehand Tool should be disabled with Dynamic Lighting (at least in the new UI) as it causes way more problems than it is worth... Afraid you have to redo everything with the Polygon Tool. A long time ago?  Were you using the new UI or the old UI? Freehand is not supposed to be available to draw with on the Lighting layer.
Thank you, I drew it last week, I think with the new UI. But I followed your advices and used a dummy account, and it seems to solve the problem. The weird line isn't there anymore

Odd, I am unable to draw on the Lighting layer with freehand (New UI).
