I have found a couple active games to play in currently and will not be taking on any more at this time. Ill update this thread if that changes....Thank you! For those of you who will ask. I do not say no 4th edition dnd because I hate it, I say it because the system is not for me. It is a good solid system just not what I am looking for in a game. That being said I will try any new system that you throw at me assuming that I can find the books and you may not have to ask me where I got them from ;) My name Is Michael but most call me Tuku and I am looking for a tabletop game to play regularly. My experiance is spread across a great number of table top games but I know Dungeons and Dragons 3/3.5/Pathfinder the best Games I have played. Dungeons and Dragons 3/3.5/Pathfinder (Most experience) Battletech second edition (Dabbled) New Traveller (played about a year long game ) That is about it....Now for the games that I would prefer try out. (Note these are not the only game that I will play, just the ones that strike my fancy) Dungeons and Dragons Battletech Shadowrun Call of Cthulhu(I have read most of the Lovecraft books and LOVE them) Cyberpunk2020 Cthulhutech(see note for CoC) Dogs in the Vineyard My Play style My play style is interesting. I tend to look at building a character by thinking up a story or concept first and then using the rules to fit that concept, sometimes the rules change the concept and a great many times I have asked GMs for concessions to the rules (With whatever drawbacks they may see fit to allow the change). I am not afraid to ask for something that I want and even try to state my case. On the other hand I have no problem with the word no if the GM dose not like the idea. Also I like to work out at least an outline for each character's back story and hand it to the GM. IF they use part of my background in the game great...if not they still have it if they need a new hook at some point. In game I am laid back but still pay attention and LOVE the role play aspect of Role Playing Games, to that end I tend to pick interesting character concepts and stick with them preferring not to fudge my characters personality in order to avoid some blow back that I see coming but my character might not. For the good of the game yes I will work something out but otherwise conflict and failure makes the game more interesting in my opinion. If you see something you like here please post here or PM me. I have a Mic and am open most nights and some days US Central time zone
