Do we access to remasters or already owned Modules?

(If this is the wrong forum, please let me know and I'll move it across) ( Hello all, I bought the Descent into Avernus Roll20 Module a while back, and have just seen that Roll20 have released a remastered edition with different maps etc. Do we get access to the remastered version as a matter of course (much like a Skyrim or numerous other computer games) or do we have to buy it all over again?

Hi Greased Lowsman! You should absolutely have access to it. Check your library, or go to the Marketplace page . If you own the original, you should automatically own the remaster. You can create a new game with the original or the remaster, but you cannot "patch" an existing original to the remaster. The contents have been completely remade. If you wish to use the remaster, but have already started a campaign with the original, my advice would be to use the Character Vault or the Characters feature to move the PCs to the new game. If you were to upgrade to a Pro subscription, you would get access to the Transmogrifier, which makes transferring many assets at once very easy. Although I was able to find emails and old forum posts to verify the intended behavior, I was unable to find anything on the Help Center to make a citation easy. I'll make a report.
