[LFP] [D&D 5e] [saturdays 4pm] [new players welcome] Homebrew game looking for players to start in two weeks

Edited 1707966884
This will be a long running campaign playing on saturdays from 4 pm CST to 8 pm CST. We are planning to start playing on the 24th.         We are looking for no more than 4 players. The only requirement we have is that you can mostly consistently show up and not cause trouble. The game is set in a homebrewed world called Puisele where long ago a dark god rose from the depths and irrevocably changed the world. This has been the setting for my last 3 games, and the world is well fleshed out. Thousands of years later you and your group have been tasked with determining the source of ever larger war bands of orcs using more effective tactics and strategies and posing a major risk to the greater world. This campaign will focus on the war between the orcs and the surrounding countries, but will also explore the introduction of industrialization into a medieval fantasy world. We are looking for players that want to make a collaborative story with us regardless of experience. We are doing this primarily to have fun. We will be using official content from: The player’s handbook The Dungeon Master’s Guide The monster manual Out of the abyss Eberron: rising from the last war Ghosts of saltmarsh Xanathar’s guide to everything Volo’s guide to monsters Tasha’s cauldron of everything Tome of Beasts 1, 2 and 3 As well as various homebrew elements that will be discussed and agreed upon before playing Our starting level will be determined by the mean experience of the group Available character races will be: Dwarves Elves Halflings Humans Dragonborn Gnomes Half-elves Half-orcs Tieflings Warforged Orcs Goblins Hobgoblins Available Classes will be: Artificer Barbarian Bard Cleric Druid Fighter Monk Paladin Ranger Rogue Sorcerer Warlock Wizard If this sounds appealing to you, reply or send me a DM for more details or with any questions you may have.
Hello My name is Hal. I'm interested in joining. I have experience with 5E and Roll20. My old group played (on Roll20) for several years before disbanding (for natural 'life happens' reasons). That said, it's been a few years now since I've played at all and I'm itching to get back into it. I'd like to delve into an interesting story and an intriguing world with some good people looking to have fun, make friends and kick some Orc ass. I'm pretty easy going and can get along with just about anyone. I like to joke around and have fun (both in and out of character) but I like just as much to take things seriously when the situation/story goes in that direction. I've played every class (well, every traditional class) and multi-classed most of them. That said, I tend to lean towards martial classes; rogue, fighter, ranger. I'm always willing to fill in any role a party may need. I'm flexible. One of my most memorable characters of all-time was a Life Cleric. I'm eastern time (Indiana {though originally from Chicago}), so the game time of 4pm CST/5pmEST on Saturdays works just shiny for me. Even if it needed to be changed, I have a wide range of flexibility in that area. Are you planning on running a session 0? Hope to chat with you soon. -Hal
we will be running a session 0 this saturday at 4pm CST. and running session 1 on the 24th, not the 28th as previously stated in my post, honest mistake on my part, if you join, you'll be our final player.
Sure. I'd love to join if you'll have me. -Hal
I would be interested in playing if there is still a spot available
Also interested if there's still a spot open
