Polygon Fog of War: GM view does not correspond with players view

The is the first game, I'm going to master on Roll20. I want to reveal a map, part by part to the players. The first part of the map is shown to the players at the start of the game. First picture is what I see in the GMs view. The second picture, is what I get, when changing to the players view. To me, it does not look like the shapes of the revealed area is the same on both.

Hi Torsten! Do you have any other dynamic lighting features active on the page? Blocking lines? Light sources? A screen shot of the DL Page Settings and the DL layer would help, as well as possibly the sight and light settings of the token doing the viewing. It's hard to tell what might be the issue, given the current level of information.
Dynamic lighting is switched off. Standard Fog of War is enabled, with should according to the ? next to Fog of War (Kriegsnebel) switch of any dynamic lightning. I've played this a little bit further and it seems, that only parts of the polygon are shown, that occupy more than half a rectangular grid square.
When I reveal a larger part of the map to the party, I think the problem becomes clear. When I place a test token onto the map, I can not see it from the players view :-/

It might be that Dynamic Lighting's Permanent Darkness is lingering. Please switch to Dynamic Lighting, then click on the Permanent Darkness icon (left toolbar, cloud icon) and reveal the entire map.  Then turn off Dynamic Lighting.

If that doesn't work, did you ever, at any point have Legacy Dynamic Lighting turned on? That grid pattern reminds me of the old Advanced Fog of War. If you would like to PM me an invite, I'd be happy to come into the game and do an investigation.

Gauss and keithcurtis seem to be on the right track... I would also point out that Torsten's Player View looks like Dynamic Lighting's Explorer Mode, since the colors are greyed out.  So in addition to toggling Permanant Darkness on-and-clearing it then Off again, I would also suggest Enable Dynamic Lighting, toggle Explorer Mode on-and-off, and then disable Dynamic Lighting again. However I would also say that I've not seen this type of Bug report before. Normally when Dynamic Lighting is OFF, this kind of view is not possible and does not occur. Could be a glitch with your particular game, or a new Roll20 bug that has cropped up.

Gold, I've seen a bug where elements of Dynamic Lighting remain active when Dynamic Lighting is off. Hence turning it on, resetting things, then turning it back off. It is rare, but not new.
Thank you all! Switching on / off DL and revealing the entire map did the trick. Now, the system behaves as expected! :-)
