Players: Is there anything worse than creating a really cool character, a fun and deep background, then get started with an eclectic group & a dynamic DM only to have it disappear after a few short sessions? I have lived it too. It sucks. Do you pine for a long term group of RPG friends to engage in epic conquest with? I do! If you do too then YOU are in the right place. DM's: You've spent literally years on your homebrew world. Filled it with kingdoms, cities, towns, NPCs, culture, customs and holidays. You have created intriguing story lines and masterful villains. But every time you get a new group started all your players seem disappear right when things are about to get interesting. Sound familiar? Now all you wish you had were some dedicated players that won't flake out to help bring it to life right? If you answered yes then YOU are in the right place. Don't let all that work go to waste bring it here. We are thirsty for adventure! I have been playing RPG's for many years but only played online about 1 year now. The last 2 serious online groups I played with have fizzled out & now looking for serious committed players and a DM for a long term campaign, lvl1-lvl30+. The preference is for a bi-weekly group for Mon & Wed evenings/nights (this is somewhat negotiable based on the response) Looking for no more than 4-5 players so that the DM won't have to do too much cat herding and we can all get enough personal character development. DM Experience is obviously a must. Homebrew is preferred. House rules are expected. Able to run a mature game without being raunchy. Not a player slaughterhouse, but still not afraid to bring the heat so that players can/might die. Flexibility with sandbox play and fixed story arc. Able to balance in depth RP with combat. An even mix of both. A bit of thespian/novelist is always a big PLUS. Tough but fair. Players: 2-4 more for a total of 3-5. Looking for long term commitment but understand that sometimes players just don't mesh. Players that enjoy characters who can both party synergize and go it solo when necessary are preferred. Some experience with 3.5 is required. Ability to maturely handle character death is a must. If you managed to stay awake after all that and are interested in this type of game please post here or send me a PM and we will see what we can put together. Thanks for reading, Sweet Medicine
