Hey, me and a good friend of mine Stan are looking for a chance to finally play as players together, and not have to GM for once. We've been GMing for over a decade and been roleplaying in general even more. We take roleplay fairly seriously, diving deep into our characters and the world that surrounds them. As for scheduling, Monday and Tuesday work best for us. I am EST based, he is PST based, we're both mostly night owls. Wednesdays are a no-go (we're both GMing a game that day), while other days may only be available in the late night. Dealbreakers: Looking for text-only , specifically live-text (not play-by-post). Not interested in western marches or one-shots. Only interested in long-term games. Heavily prefer systems/campaigns that enable player creativity and freedom rather than railroad it down a specific path with very restrictive choices. We enjoy game sessions that are more frequent; weekly is preferred, bi-weekly is the limit for us. Some things we prefer (not a dealbreaker): Most familiar with D&D5e, Pathfinder 2e, Savage Worlds, and a few other systems. We do best in smaller games, 3-5 players is the sweet spot. Generally enjoy Medieval Fantasy / Dark Fantasy, but also don't mind Sci-fi. I myself generally like to play around with strange concepts, or play monstrous/beast races; Stan is similar though moreso with humans, undead, eldritch abominations, and what have you. But, we're fairly flexible with what characters we play. If you or someone has a game they're GMing, please feel free to message (on this post or DMs) even if it might not completely fit above, or if you have any questions.
