New to D&D, looking to learn. Available Saturdays CST (maybe Friday evenings)

I'm fairly new to D&D. I got into it a few months ago. However, the DM retired, and moved out of the US (I'm on CST). Haven't been able to find any groups in my small town, and this was suggested as a place to try. I've played maybe 4 - 6 times...although the last few, we wound up talking about life happens, so didn't do a lot on the game, so I'm fairly new. It's one thing to read a bit about it online, but another to actually play. The DM let me homebrew my Bard, between Colleges of Lore & Eloquence...maybe it was 5, although it could have been 3.5...and I think I's bump to level 3, so I could have a few skills and such, as I think the next lowest was level 5...I was a human variant, neutral alignment, with the character name of Richie Snare, mostly self taught, but I did learn some from the "Fab 4:" John, Paul , George, and Ringo! ^_^ Would like to meet up on Saturdays, if anyone doesn't mind a new guy, who is very interested in learning.
Hey so I’m in a similar situation looking to play in same time zones was interested in seeing if you wanted to try and put a group together
