Enforce Line of Sight Without Using Lighting

When it's dark, I turn on DL and enforce Line of Sight. When it's sunny I'd like to turn off DL but still enforce Line of Sight. Basically, during daytime I want it to look like every character emits a personal glow of 1000 squares, which allows them to see the screen except that they can't see around walls and such. I'd like to be able to do this without clicking through every single character and changing their DL settings every time we move from interior to exterior and vice-versa. Am I missing something simple? Can this even be done? If not, is there an API script that can instantly change the vision on a group of selected tokens from 0 to 100 and vice-versa? As a reference, here's an image for what I want tokens to be able to see in daylight, regardless of their personal "Emits Light" value.
Tough, you have to remove the DL lines and drop roofs on to switch and reverse to switch off. I use multiple light sources on the DL layer set to 200 ____ 360° check all players see light for day time and 200 0 360° for moon light. Meanwhile back on the DL: Then I have five "Moon/Sun" tokens to adjust the light when the lighting changes. I am looking for shadows and places they can't see the scales are all wrong, but it isn't a simulation.
