Looking for GM and 3 to 4 other players for D&D 4e

I would be GM myself but my previous experience with being GM isn't the best. I am available every night so time is very flexible. I'd like to start at level 1, i figure the GM can pick the setting and place. I do have plenty of campaign stuff and if it came down to it i could GM. I am on EST.
I would play if you want Iv played D&D 4e a hand full of times. So I'm not that good at all the stuff but i got a handle on it.
No my bad i played 3.5.
I'd be interested in joining the campaign. I've played 4e, with some homebrew added, but I still know all about the game, and how homebrew differs from normal. I have not GM'ed before, so I would not be able to do that...
Would like to play, which days and time are you thinking of to have a session?
Tuesdays are the only days i would really prefer not to do it, but any days would work. Friday seems ideal though. I figure around 7 would work best.
Any solid schedules? And what materials will be used (like what races and classes are permitted to PC's)
No solid schedules yet i dont have any real restrictions and no one else seems to. I figured any/all races and classes from all the player handbooks, heroes of.. books, Forgotten Realms Player's Guide, Eberron Player's Guide, and Dragon magazine.
Foxfolk Paladin sound good?
I'd be down for this. I'm on EST as well, Mmst days will work for me.
I would be interested in joining you guys and I'm pst though it shouldn't matter but the race that I want to play is homebrew stuff. It's half-dragon but if we can't make a compromise then i have other options. and the site for half-dragon http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Half-Dragon_(4e_Race) half-dragon monk edit: took out martial artist
I'm thinking about either a Shade Warlock (Binder) or Vryloka Vampire, haven't decided yet. Pretty much any day will work for me, and I'm on EST as well.
i would like to join this adventure im new to table top which is why i joined here hoping to find people who want to get a game started with.
I'm PST time zone and I can play any time every one wants to. I would like to play a halfling rogue.
Ok so we have about 6 players including myself, would any one want to DM or should i just go ahead and DM?
^ Looks like you'll have to
if its open like that im working the werebear / lycanthrope into a class or trying to and it sounds like you guys have experience in this matter would like some suggestions on modifiers so not to overshadow any one else since i can't find a platform for it yet
Looks like its all you Jacky boy. so when do we start it?
@Skaah lycanthropy is not really a class it's more of a racial curse
If you were wanting to use lycanthrope as a back story, I would suggest being a Longtooth-shifter druid. Longtooth-shifters have had a history of being mistook for Lycans and often persecuted.
oh i know not making it a class just trying to get the curse with racial and the modifiers wanted a special rogue class not sure what yet guess i typed it out wrong
the dnd wiki should help here are the links that I think would help http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Lycanthrope#Lycanthropes_as_Characters http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Werebear
human were bear cleric lvl 1 if allowed Balador as my deity and i have a backround just need help finding 4e map so i can figure where I'm from and the bio of my character
What are we going to be playing 3e, 4e, 3.5?
I think the posts name says 4e but I'm not sure
it says 4e
uhm the sites that I sent you were for 3.5e stuff
I see ok well i could play if you want to teach me but I played 3.5
is 3.5 that different from 4e?
Hahaha i have no idea xD
A lot I guess
Ok, well i finished the maps for the start of it, i suppose we could either play Friday or Saturday around 7? This is my first time using the system so it may be iffy. I so i guess the party can develop a story as to why they are together on cart with a dwarf as guards of some sort.
can you pls put the time zone
7 EST
How are we doing character sheets?
^ and I'm going to anime expo Friday and Saturated. so if you could slap me in later that would be really nice.
^ XD Saturated lol Everyone's okay with my being a half-dragon? How are we doing ability scores 22 points?
yeah how are we doing scores?
LOL! my bad and i think a half-dragon sounds op/gay but if the GM said ok then i don't give no fucks!
I really wanted the half-dragon for style mostly. If I really wanted to be op I would use my lineage feat to get dragon wings.
the 22 point system would work fine, but personally i just use the chart. As for the character sheets i figured youd have yours while you play and we just go on a system of trust.
Foodwrap, whats the difference between half-dragon and dragonborn?
well dragonborn are humanoid dragons as a whole race. a half dragon is when a dragon transform into it's lover's race and mates with them as a result a half dragon a half the lover's race. hope this explains
Can you still become a dragon?
Not sure I follow
ok if we are doing the 22 point build ive only done the 4d6drop to make a character so explain what i do so i can start stating
page 17-18 on the phb 1
ok the only hand book i have is 3.0 with 3.5 in my head and i lost those books about a yr ago so little more help then that so i dont have to go buy the 4.0 just yet
okay so you get 22 buy points and you automatically get the stats 8 10 10 10 10 10 adding a point is a 1:1 ratio until you get to 13 then it's 2:1 at 16 it's 3:1 up to a max of 18 hope that explains it
thats good enough thank you and also what stat start at 8 do i decide?
ya you can change the 8 around.
