Any Planescape Games? EST. Any System.

I've only played a small amount of 5E and 2E so far, but i'm open to any system, D&D or otherwise.  Typically i'm unavailable from 11AM-8PM EST on weekdays (This varies, right now i'm free on fridays), outside of that i think i can manage most any time, i have other games scheduled on saturdays (Every other week), wednesdays, and sundays so i might have to be more precise with my hours on those days. i'm interested in late night stuff the most, but i understand that scheduling can be one of the biggest barriers when it comes to actually getting to play a game. Hence i especially like those rare games that happen in the late night/early morning of EST, i never have to schedule around those. I'm specifically looking for Planescape in particular, but i'm fine with talking about anything else, i just love the weirdness of it's setting. I don't specifically have too many comments when it comes to playstyle i'm mostly 50/50 on combat and roleplay so far, i'll need more experience if i ever want to settle on focusing on one over the other, i'm still learning. The only real preference i have when it comes to the games themselved is that i prefer a chill enviroment, something done just for fun, but still having effort put into it by myself atleast. In addition to this i've also been interested in learning to DM myself, and i somewhat plan on taking on the task of running one of these in the future, so i might appreciate little tips here and there. If you feel like having me as a player in one of your games, feel free to give me a message, on here or at Discord @claymationcourtyard i'd love to discuss details. Regardless, have a good day.

I've run a lot of Planescape. It holds a special place in my heart. It first dropped in my early TTRPG days and I would call it one of the two most influential early games for me. Torment the PC video game was also pretty revolutionary in its day. I am however not a D&D person any longer. I haven't run or played D&D since 3.5 and lean more indie/OSR in my preferences these days. I have had a slow simmering Planescape game concept for some time, but it wouldn't be D&D or traditional ye-olde-adventuring-party.
I am primarily interested in it because of Torment, though i love the delightful weirdness of it regardless. I'm curious what other systems you'd be interested in using it with, as well as what you'd do outside of the DnD format.

Ya so in OG Planescape ideological factions are a big part of Sigil. The core concept is a party that is a group of relatively philosophically agnostic agents, actors, "spys", who hire themselves out to faction reps as contractors. So one week doing something to push a Dustmen agenda, another week working as Harmonium enforcers, and another messing with religious proceedings on behalf of the Athar, etc. As for system, I am not 100% sure what I would use. Just based on what I am currently reading I would probably consider the Synthetic Dream Machine, the core system for Ultraviolet Grasslands, which is a loose d20 OSR style system. It's looseness would make it fairly easy to allow pretty out there characters, much like Torment, a floating skull here, an immortal there, a succubus over yonder, etc.
I see, i see, not much i'm familiar with but the interest is there, like i said i'm not really attatched to any one system and would probably like the freedom to play more weird characters more, originally i was considering playing a Modron, which would require me to dip into homebrew for 5E, while my backup plan was to just be a tiefling or Githyanki.

Nice. I would probably kindly encourage even deeper concepts that drive rich unique characters. Just riffing now to give an example, but like not just any rogue Modron, maybe one that claims to be a rival to Primus itself. Supposedly Primus, the One and the Prime, was formed from 4 original Modrons joining in a pool of glittering light, as the Guvners tell. Actually, this Modron character claims, it was the 5th. But 5 broke the symmetry of 4, and its algorithms were much too erratic for the other 4 progenitors, its logic remarkably fuzzy, so just before Primus was born it was spat out of the pool.  But the Prime saw purpose in the odd Modron none the less, an order in its disorder. Sometimes there is utility in erratic thinking and creative non-linearity, so they kept the 5th stored in stasis as an alternate eye for the One. From time to time Primus would replace one of its eyes with the 5th to gain the insight of disgustingly disordered thinking. This went on for millennia until a group of adventurers from the Prime Material plane came along on some fool quest and decided to steal the 5th, thinking it some kind of artifact and spoil of their journey. After a bit the 5th ran away and is now a free agent. Or similar things for a tiefling or Githyanki. If tiefling, who are you parents and what are your unique talents as a result? If Githyanki, what was your role among your people and why have you abandoned the ordered legions and the great conquest and how do we reflect that in the character?
Those are good questions for character development. I've also toyed with the idea of playing a character that serves Vlaakith, despite not being any kind of gith, perhaps a duregar.
