3D Dice and Chat result do not match

I'm essentially posting the same thing here that I posted in the main forums. 3d dice and the result in chat do not match. It has steadily gotten worse. Whereas it used to be the odd result here and there, now it affects roughly 90% of rolls. And on the occasions when it does tally, the actual number of dice rolled is wrong! As a Pro user with access to Jumpgate, I tested that and got the same problem. This is really affecting our enjoyment of the game. We've turned off 3d dice, but its so sad. Screenshots Different, new game, hosted by another player Same game.. Same game, dice result are correct, number of dice rolled are wrong.. Jumpgate, new game

Hi Andrew,  Which browser (and version number) are you using?  How are the commands being entered? In the chat? Via the roller on the left? Character sheet? Macro/Ability?
I am seeing this behavior as well.  I am running chrome, but my entire group is seeing it, and the numbers appear to be consistent (both 3d die and chat result) in everyone's UI.  It is definitely doing it on character sheet macro rolls and I believe it may have done it when clicking the roller on the left.  I have not seen it when entering a /r command.

Hi Gauss I'm running on Chrome ( Version 123.0.6312.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) . I've also tested on Edge and got the same result. My group last night consisted of 7 players, all of them using a mix of Chrome/Firefox. However, even starting a new test game of my own, I can reproduce the problem easily.   Results mismatch irrespective of method used to roll them. I tried the menu dice roller, direct /r commands and simple macros (that do nothing other than replicate /r commands) with no measurable difference in outcome. Groupthink among my group suggested possible issues. My main game has been going years and we thought *perhaps* the extended chat log was causing issues. Starting a completely new game dismissed that idea as it was still miss-matching results. Next we are going to try connecting via a VPN. As we assume roll20 servers are in the US and we are all in Europe/Aus perhaps there's timing issue? One of my group is a coder and he thought it might be something to do with how the result is actually generated, eg does the physics simulation of the dice set the result or does the chat set the result and the physics dice roll is essentially fudged to fit the chat result. Either way there may be a timing issue that causes one to mis-match the other. I've actually seen this back when things worked pretty much as expected (as in dice did match chat). One time, the 3d dice rolled and right near the end of the roll, 2 dice collided and switched the result. The chat however did not reflect that switch, suggesting it times out before the 3d dice fully come to rest. Thanks Andrew
I should also add that on occasion, some players see conflicting results. Eg I might exclaim "oh the 18 on the dice actually match the 18 in the chat this time" only to be told by someone else that their dice are showing a 9.

Hopefully this has been fixed, if you see further instances of this please let us know.
Thanks, Gauss. Played this evening, and so far no errors. Many thanks for your efforts on this.
