Hey Lionel! Not a stupid question. Addons can be added to existing games. Modules have to be used to create games. This is by intent, to keep games within reasonable size and reduce the chance of accidental overwrites. The recommended procedure is to create a new game with the module and use Transmogrifier, Character Vault or Roll20 Characters to move the PCs to the new game. The Transmogrifier is a Pro perk, but also allows you to move pages, macros, handouts, and much more.
