cant delete chat history

I cannot delete chat history even when using splash screen as stated in guide . I've found a similar bug report daring four and NINE years ago! Has this thing not been resolved for that long?

Hi Jacek! Those instructions seem to be out of date. If you follow the steps, the thing to type is now displayed in the dialog as "DELETE CHAT", not "CONFIRM". Note: finding bug reports from that long ago in no way indicates that it has been a continuing issue. Issues are very often resolved and no further post is made. Deleting Chat Archive is a very common practice. If it were broken for that long, you would find a lot more reports, and recent. I deleted an archive just now as a quick test. If you follow the dialog and enter the updated wording (I'll make a report on the Help Center article), it should delete. You will likely need to refresh your game window. If the chat still doesn't clear, please report again and we can investigate further. If it does delete, also please report here so that others can see if the issue was resolved.

Ok, I think what is happening here. I got different language version set for Roll 20 and when you mentioned the thing that needs to be typed I realized that maybe system translates everything but does not actually accept translated version of "delete chat" which is shown in its translated form. Using "delete chat" although it instucts me otherwise does solve the trick. So the problem is with Roll20 implementation of translated version.
