Looking for DMs for a 5th Edition Online Club Attempt

Currently right now I am looking for DMs to help me with setting up a D&D 5th Edition Adventurers League club. The intention currently is to follow the Adventurers League rules as close as possible while allowing room for customization and accessibility for new players and custom content. I have had alot of interest from players etc who would like to play and get along with this idea but not enough DMs. To just maybe have a lobby where all the 5E players can gather and look for games from other DMs etc I'm going to quote here the D&D site for what Adventurers exactly is. "The D&D Adventurers League is an ongoing official organized play campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition of the Dungeons & Dragons rules, and features the Forgotten Realms setting. You can play D&D Adventurers League games at any place that features adventures bearing the D&D Adventurers League logo. You can create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League is supported. Most D&D Adventurers League games are public, in-person play events. Typical venues for these events are game and hobby stores, conventions, and public-accessible game day events. When the D&D Adventurers League begins with the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, you’ll have three paths you can take to begin on the road to adventure with a new character." This is the general gist of what D&D Adventurers League is however I have found that online games/play is generally very scattered across the net. I aim to try and bring together a local hub somehow to allow players from all over the world to play together, make finding games easier, and making time-zones more accessible. I do feel however personally that the Adventurers League rules can be a bit too restricting on custom content and I am quite lax with it in my games personally and warn players if they do want custom stuff they will lose AL rights etc. More of those rules can be seen on the site. As it currently stands I run two-DM games, one Lost Mines of Phandelver, one Horde of the Dragon Queen, and one as a player in a game. I post my logs of the game like this on the current site. I use Obsidian Portal as it is the best go-to thing I could find that would suit my needs. I will hopefully move on to something more flexible and useful to me when I can find the time for it. A link to the Currently planned Calandar Games Here A link to the current Roll20 Hub Here A link to my current logs of the HotDQ Here A link to the Obsidian Portal site is Here What I am currently looking for are DMs more then Players! Right now I have plenty of players wishing they can get into a game with me but due to either time-zone constraints or general flow of players I can't do this alone. I am in the GMT-0 so I am hoping their are DMs in other timezones as well. I am hoping there are DMs out there who share a similar issue or new players to D&D who will step up to the task and try to achieve this as well. I know there was another group who aimed to do the same thing and I do not wish to herd people into my area only. So I will post a link to their group as well HERE
Hello, I PMed you with some questions.
Will you (or some other member of the group) be providing the maps/modules for the adventure league materials ? It can be provided if needed but I mean most of the material can be found on the net if you really are stretched for cash etc. I have the expedition PDFs if you so wish to run them but do so understanding their may be repercussions from the stores if they wonder how you have XP from them on your players Log sheet. Simply because I did not agree with the limitations of Expeditions and wanting to run them myself. I have the starter set Phandelver module, Legacy of the Crystal Shard, Murder in Baldur's Gate, the two D&DNext Thay modules as well as Dragonspear Castle and Vault of the Dracolich. Would I be 'allowed' to run those but under 5e rules? Ignoring Phandelever, Yes of course. as long as you fine-tune the monsters to the players I see no reason why not. I would accept it in the Adventures League Online here under "Custom Content" but remember that Adventure League Official does not accept the D&D next modules as a part of the Adventure League Curriculum. Will it be one large lobby with the maps and everything set up, or will it be a lobby for people to meet and then split off into individual games? I'm a little worried about the learning curve on the tech/setup side which is why I'm asking. It will just be a large lobby which gathers players into groups and they split off really. No need to make it more complicated than that if you ask me. If you prefer to use set content by me or any other DM I see no reason why not. There are limitations over how much you control though due to the why the GM systems work. (Creator of the Game has full control while a Promoted GM has mostly only control over the tabletop enviroment). In terms of the tech side and setup that honestly depends on your knowledge of general computer interfaces. If it was setup for you it should all be self-explanatory. In all honesty I would suggest you setup a game by yourself and ask other DMs how they did what they did in theres. You know that old proverb "Give a man a fish he can eat for a day, Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime". Its better you learn so you can replicate it yourself. I can give you maps made by people in the net and I can give you specific sites to search for battlemaps.
