Hello and welcome! This is a sandbox, homebrew campaign
loosely based in the Zelda universe. Many of the elements from Ocarina of Time
and Major’s Mask will make an appearance in this game. This game takes place
after the goddesses performed their labors of creation and formed the sacred
triangles of the Triforce, but before the triangles were unified into the
Triforce and the goddesses departed the mortal realm. Currently, the disunity
of the goddesses has created a rift, a physical and geographical manifestation
of their disagreement. This rift is a land of darkness where monsters spawn and
archaic mysteries lie, a cursed land that divides the world. Each of the
goddesses, Din, Nayru, and Farore, has taken it upon themselves to inspire the
various peoples to follow in their diverging paths. There will be lots of Role Playing, Exploring, Battle,
Crafting, and many other features to this adventure. Discord will be used for
voice during sessions and having a functioning microphone is mandatory. I am
looking for players that will be here on a consistent, long-term basis with an
unknown end level. This game will fall somewhere in between RAW and Rule of
Cool when it comes to calls. The rules absolutely have their place, but it is
ok and desired for them to be bent for the fun of everyone at the table. Your can
will choose which of the races of Hyrule you will appear as in-game (including
any of them monster races). I am looking for people who are wanting to do more than
just play a game. I am looking to build friendships, not just find people that
want to log in once a week and forget about it. There will be an out of session
RP text channel on Discord so participation is desired. As this campaign is
meant to build friendships and provide entertainment, well-thought-out
characters that you can see playing long-term are desired (murder-hobos and pvp
enthusiasts will not be allowed). Please reply to this post with the following

create a completely new, non-generic background and background feature
that you would like to have for your character. the more creative, the
better.
preliminary character concept including name and class.
list your experience with D&D 5e and Roll20.
