Currently looking for any group or DM's planning on playing the upcoming 5E module, Vecna: Eve of Ruin. I've yet to play any high level 5E and i love the various different settings of DnD, so it should be fun to go through them as a marathon. My experience with 5E is decent, i've played every class outside of Ranger and Wizard once, and feel like i know enough to DM soon, but am still looking for games as a player. For character concepts, i'm fairly attached to the idea of a lore bard, higher level stuff seems like it'd be a lot more fun for spellcasters, but i'm more than willing to play a barbarian, druid, or paladin if the party is already full of squishy spellcasters and we need some damage to be soaked up. I'm basically thinking that my character could be some kind of multiversal "hiccup", combining elements from two different settings. Like a Vulkoor Drow from Eberron who serves in the Elven Imperial Fleet from Spelljammer, or a Giff Reborn that's connected to Ravenloft in some way, maybe a Gith that's found her way into the political intrique of Eberron. Fusing two different thematic universes is a basic thought i've had for my characters. My free Time is relatively open right about now, i've got a handful of days with nothing going on, i'm not likey able to make games on Saturday, and Sunday is also a little bit full. Friday i have a game at 10:30PM and one at 8PM on Wednesday. Outside of that, i should be free after or before 6-2 AM-PM. Feel free to message me if you'd like to have me in your games.
