Hi Derek! Can you provide more information, including repro steps? From the title, I assume that you as GM do not see a black screen. The most common cause for a player seeing a black screen is that they do not have a vision-enabled token on a Dynamic Lighting-enabled map, with sufficient light. If this is a possibility, but you cannot find where this is breaking down, as a Pro Level player, you can install the Dynamic Lighting Tool mod in your game. It contains a button called "Why can't this token see?", which runs diagnostic tests to make a report listing potential causes. If you give more information, including page settings and token settings screenshots, we may be able to offer more specific advice.
yes.  When I turn off dynamic lighting it is correct on the players map.  Fog of war has the same effect. Where do I find the Dynamic lighting tool?

You can find it in the One Click installs on your Mods page. Here is a handy video guide to installing scripts by the amazing Nick Olivo. How to Install Roll20 API Scripts Here is a thread on how the script works. The top post has a demo video link, also by Nick. Here's a screen shot of the Token Vision Checklist on the script:
