18+ Campaign Greetings, adventurers! As we prepare to embark on a new journey in our Dungeons & Dragons campaign, I invite each of you to craft and share the story of your character. This is more than just an introduction; it's an opportunity to breathe life into your alter ego and weave them into the rich tapestry of our shared adventure. Here are the details I'd love for you to consider: Character Backstory 1. **Origins**: - Where is your character from? Describe their homeland or place of origin. - What was their upbringing like? Were they raised in wealth, poverty, or something in between? - Any notable family members or mentors who influenced their early life? 2. **Defining Moments**: - What key events shaped your character’s personality and skills? - Any significant tragedies, triumphs, or adventures in their past? - How did they come to choose their current path or profession? 3. **Personality and Traits**: - Describe your character's personality. Are they brave, cunning, kind, or perhaps vengeful? - Do they have any quirks, habits, or peculiarities? - What are their greatest strengths and most glaring flaws? Goals and Motivations 1. **Personal Goals**: - What does your character aspire to achieve? This could be a tangible goal (wealth, power, revenge) or an intangible one (redemption, knowledge, honor). - Are there any long-term dreams or ambitions driving your character forward? 2. **Immediate Objectives**: - What short-term goals are they currently pursuing? This might be tied to the campaign’s initial setting or plot hooks. - Any immediate needs or desires that could shape their actions in the near future? 3. **Allies and Enemies**: - Does your character have any notable allies, friends, or loved ones they seek to protect or reunite with? - Any enemies or rivalries that might come into play? This could be individuals, organizations, or even past mistakes haunting them. Integration with the Campaign - **Connections**: - How does your character fit into the broader world we are creating? Are there any particular factions, locations, or historical events they are tied to? - How might they know or come to know the other characters in the party? Any shared history or mutual acquaintances? - **Potential Hooks**: - Provide some plot hooks or story elements related to your character that could enrich our campaign. These could be secrets, hidden agendas, or mysterious pasts that I can weave into the overarching narrative. By delving into these aspects, you’ll not only deepen your own role-playing experience but also provide me with rich material to craft a dynamic and engaging campaign tailored to your characters. Feel free to be creative and elaborate as much as you like; the more detail, the better! I look forward to meeting the heroes, anti-heroes, and everything in between that you bring to life. This will be an 18+ campaign. Apply here: https://app.roll20.net/join/17176407/qI19JA Please also include availability! Happy creating! Khraevyn
Hi Khraevyn - new to D20 and wondering how this works. Do people submit characters and then you plan to DM? Where does one find the source material? How do you determine what time to meet? Thanks, J

Hey J! Thanks for the response. I will be the DM and you can submit characters by either posting here or sending me a private message. I have been away from Roll20 myself for a while now so I may have posted some things wrong. I will see if I can add a link to the specific campaign. Source material is really anything official 5e, but I am open to anything. I've been playing D&D as well as other TTRPG's for 30 years now so I can make most anything work really. Time to meet will be determined once enough people have responded and I have an idea of how many and who will be playing. I apologize for not providing clear information. As I said, I just logged in after 8 years and just threw something up to get in the mix. I will try to clarify the posting for future inquiries. You can post your character here https://app.roll20.net/join/17176407/qI19JA

This will be a Homebrew story arc of my own design. We will be using 5e Core Rules and anything else I feel like fits. If you have ideas or suggestions, please feel free to share. The Story so far.... The campaign will take place on a series of planets and moons at the nucleus of all creation. This locus exists outside of Time and is always everywhere, yet nowhere. Each Planet and Moon have a specific Avatar and their corresponding role. Eternians are primordial concepts given physical form and influence. The main planet is called Eternia . It is the source of all manifestations in the physical reality. It is an idyllic world full of wonder and majesty. It is a High Fantasy theme with some Steam Punk(Technology and Science) tossed in for flavor. Other Planets and Moons will take on the corresponding traits of their Avatar. You, as the player will take the role of Sentinels . Sentinels are tasked with keeping the balance of Creation. It is actually called The Keeping and is not something to be fucked with. Your main goal is to maintain The Keeping . Each of you will have a specific Avatar that you answer to and act specifically to their ideology and core concepts. Because of this attunement with your Avatar, you will receive the following benefits... Character Creation: All characters get an extra Feat at level 1(Humans will get 2 due to versatility.) This is in addition to any feats you may receive from character creation. All characters get a +1 to two attributes or +2 to one attribute. Cannot exceed 18 in attribute. Gains a magical item(I havent figured that out yet, but not as OP as you would like like it) You will receive 1 Boon.(DM discretion) There will be a roll to decide if you have preexisting estates or followers.(Not gonna be very likely, but this is where your back story can make a difference) Stats will be rolled in session using the 4d6 drop the lowest die method. These rolls must be done in session to ensure fairness. YOU MUST ATTUNE WEEKLY FOR 12 HOURS TO MAINTAIN!!!!! Certain restrictions will apply based on specific attunement requirements. **Side Note** I understand this may seem confusing or daunting for new players. It's really not and I will walk you through it. Back to the story.... The first Eternian is called Origin . Everything comes from them. Obviously they have an antithetical counterpart. The complete opposite. One creates and one destroys. They are called The Ending . They hate everything mainly because they thought of it after. This was not always the case. To make anew, somethings must no longer be. And for a while that worked. Has worked from the day 0 to stop all of existence. Abhors anything to do with Creation. To maintain The Keeping , they were also given an Avatar . In the beginning, they knew their role in The Keeping . Things change as they do and there came a point when The Ending grew jealous. They began to actively to work against Origin . WELCOME TO THE SHOW!!! Want more? Make a Sentinel and prove to Origin you are worthy...
Had to kick two for no show. Yes, there is Discord. Yes, I am a very generous GM...depending. Three very invested players so far. And it's not your typical level 1 starter campaign. Level 1 is really level 3...but you are level 1. We need casters. 1 Healer, One DPS preferred. One Healer, one Support works just fine. We have a Bard(Support), a Ranged DPS, and a Melee DPS. So one more Melee/Caster/Ranged DPS, and a straight Healer class. We do have room for 2 or 3 more though so if you haven't found your game, maybe this is the one. apply here: https://app.roll20.net/join/17176407/eL19hQ
