It is an unabashedly character-driven campaign, giving your player character an incredible chance to shine and make their mark on the story your group tells. HOWEVER, please note that this can be a brutal, stressful and alienating campaign at times. The lands of Barovia will be nothing but devastating and merciless to you. The glimpses of light and hope will be rare. If you are someone who is possibly triggered by gruesome depictions of horror or psychologically disturbing relationships, or if you prefer a D&D campaign that features only victories or setbacks (outright defeats) and not expect any consequences to happen when you freely engage in combat and exploration without worrying about the potential risks, this is not for you.
