Roll20 Acquires Demiplane

I tried the survey link in multiple different browsers on Windows and Android, and it doesn't load on any of them :/  It's complaining about a McAfee security certificate.

Interesting, but I'll withhold judgement to see what developes as Roll20 tends to not fully cross develope the platforms they aquire from my point of view, take DriveThruRPG for example...  It just seems to make the company bigger with smallish benefits to us here on Roll20 who also use the other bought companies honestly.

I still have to buy maps that I already bought over there, most of the Drive Through stuff has not been moved over to Roll20.  Pathfinder Infinate does not have a lot of stuff in Roll20 and I suspect one would have to double buy it just like DriveThruRPG.

I've been on Demi since day 1 (just like Roll20 here mostly) and its a nice system, and put a lot of money into it.  Highly suspect I will have to triple buy things here on Roll20 now if things go the way they have been for Paizo products and a lot will not be crossed over as usual.

So

Potential for crossing over character sheets, BUT if they are not building them kind of the same way with tech it will be another "we have to change X so Y fits into this so it will be Z number of months (years) to intigrate said sheets one might think  Unless they started knowing this a year ago for the Roll20 revamp thing going on.

ALLL the various platform books be they Modules, Adventure Paths and rule books, again if I bought em over in demi they should just give them here for full access here, and Vise Vera, but again one might have to double or triple dip buying stuff, again.!!!  No thank you!!

Do this RIGHT Roll20 and its a good move, do it your usual way and this will not help out the average Roll20 gamer here.

The ball is in your court Rol20, are you just going to gobble up companies like other big companies with less than stellar results for us little people, or will you make OUR main hobby here thee best it can be?

I'm so sorry you're having this frustrating experience. We haven't been able to reproduce the error on our end - has opening in an incognito window helped? 

I tried that too, no luck :(  I also made sure I had all extensions disabled, so I don't know what's going on...

They have not even finished the Dungeonscrawl Integration! As of now it is NOT possible to play in Roll20 while at the same time building the map to explore on Dungeonscrawl! Also you still have to buy Dungeonscrawl PRO even if you have Roll20 PRO Subscription...

How soon can we get THE MURDERWORLD THAT TIME FORGOT in the Roll20 adventure pack?

Do Publishers licensing agreements also get shared?  Seems places like Disney/Marvel with smaller TTRPG bases would welcome this to market their new products 

Will PC2 for PF II carry over from Demiplane like PC1 did?

Then what progress on the newest sheet colaberation between you and Demiplane for PF II and now for Starfinder 2nd Ed Playtest please?

It is not only Demiplane. Dungeonscrawl Integration is way older than Demiplane and NOTHING has happend on this...

Yep, and they refuse to communicate what is going on. As a PF2 player, I have been waiting for the character builder (which used to be a prominent point on the store page here but has been removed). It has been been over 5 years now (I asked prior to release on the forums here). As of now, I am dusting off my other VTT skills. 

Other systems on Demi was said by Roll20 to have sheets in Roll20 next year.  And as I still think a Pf II Re/Remastered will be next year to, along with a Starfinder 2nd ed playtest one hopefully.

Ya it is what it is and the lack of comms from Roll20 on Paizo products is WELL KNOWN my most here and out on the net.  We keep getting thse promises of better and full disclosure, like the one you posted that Roll20 stated on Twitter I think, or was it X??

Roll20 still hav'nt backed anything but but with words, no plan of action, hell even a out by quarter 1, 2 3 or even 4 in 2025 would be nice.

The wait and see game is just so old now, ya know?

Not much we can do but post our "promptings" here on the forum and hope someone will pop something, anything out about the future.

And I know hard dates are hard to come by, but something so we can plan our games around a day, month or yes even a year if it has to be!!

IF we are shown some kind of roadmap and a date is missed its way easier to handle than nothing til it gets released, we can be quite forgiving if we know what (something, anything) is going on, otherwise we tend to think the worst, IE sheets delayed as more resouces get put into D&D 5.5 Ed or some such, just as am example mind you :)

Saw the new blog post, still have all the questions. Nothing was answered regarding cross purchase or PF2 functionality, but hey go back the new kickstarter for the latest thing we want work on while not answering question. Disappointing.

Also, it has now been over 11 weeks and nothing of substance on these issues. .
