Weird War II is a variant of 3rd edition D&D that blends sci fi, magic/fantasy, and horror into an alternate WWII setting. We meet every other Sundays 7pm ET - next session is June 16 . The game is on Roll 20 and discord. We need 1 more player. Experience with 3rd edition is helpful but not necessary. The players are a mixed group of Allied paratroopers (American and British/Commonwealth) on D-Day in an alternate history D-Day (June 19 vs historical June 6). They have landed and assaulted a nebelwerfer rocket artillery battery and took several prisoners. However, some of the dead Germans began to fight again (using rifles). The players killed the monsters before blowing the guns and retreating to a nearby rally point with prisoners in tow. They also captured a German truck and salvaged a damaged Jeep. They also just sabotaged a German secret weapons installation (V3 guns) and also battled a Nazi wizard in a cemetery. We have 3 fighters/grunt (a British SMG gunner, and two American soldiers), and a French resistance fighter (similar to a rogue) and a US scout/sharpshooter. Grunt is the basic character class with many specialties (artillery, driver, engineering, radio, mechanic, etc.) but we don't really need any more plain rifleman/grunts. Other options include scout, officer, and medic. Sending me a DM is probably the best way to connect.
