Keyboard Macro Hotkeys for Windows

In the following link there is this awesome guide for using hotkeys to trigger macros on Mac. Does anyone know whats the best way to do this on windows? Think writing something like a Tampermonkey/GreaseMonkey script to trigger a specific macro(like by simulating a click on the button) on a keydown event could work. I've recently created multiple custom keybindings for myself on other sites, but haven't yet had time or need to try it on Roll20.
