New player looking for helpful group (pref pathfinder but open to other systems) to learn the ropes.

I'm sure new players are a dime a dozen but after scratching my head at the groupfinder I thought I'd try posting in here regardless. Long story short: Growing up RPGs was not done in my circle of friends, however that never stopped me from thinking it sounded fun. Fast forward about 20 years and I find myself writing this post hoping there might be a group of nice people patient and willing to allow for a rookie player to make his babysteps. I've read the Pathfinder Core Rulebook so I have a basic understanding of the game mechanics. It doesn't have to be Pathfinder, but keeping in mind it is the only Rulebook I've ever so much as glimpsed at it might be a good start. I live Denmark (CET), however I can be quite flexible with playingtime if so needed.

Hey there Tinker. I am running a Pathfinder adventure path with a desert theme and we've just lost a player. We are willing to help you with your first foray into RPGs. Our group has been playing for a few months now and they're all good guys, so I think it should be a safe enough enviroment to learn. Some of us are also fairly new to Pathfinder as well so you should fit right in. The game is running on sundays 16.00 CET (I am a swede so our time zone is the same). We've only played for 1 session so far so you haven't missed much. It should be no problem cramming you in somewhere :D.
