Echo When We "rejoin as player"

In my campaign, we have multiple DMs. When we start playing and some of us have to "rejoin as player," suddenly, those players seem to echo whenever they speak. This doesn't happen if we don't rejoin. As the owner of the campaign, I have no choice--I can't demote myself to player so this doesn't happen. Is there a fix for this, or does this just sound weird and outlandish?

Which of the Audio/Video methods are you using? Have you tried hitting F5 afterwards?
Well, I haven't tried that. Not sure what you mean by "methods," so I guess I'll have to take a look.

Methods: WebRTC, Flash, or Google Hangouts.

Christopher, Is it the same people each time? if it is the same people then ask them if they are using a headset or just a mic and speakers. Sometimes they act funny on the rejoining. The F5 that Gauss mentions is a force refresh and it usually helps things straighten themselves out. You can rejoin as a player but it is per session adjustment. It is in the setting tab (last tab and has the gear symbol on it) just below the exit button
We play on Google Hangouts, same people each time. We didn't have the issue last time we played, but I noticed that hitting F5 also resets the entire hangout.

I noticed also that if the audio is enabled in the game while in the hangout it sometimes causes a feedback echo.

Pat, are you using a headset? If you are using speakers that may be why it is causing a feedback echo.

Yes I am and I found out that my laptop was using it's internal mic for roll20 while google was accessing my headset mic. It was not a glitch just settings on my laptop were screwed up.
