Good evening fellow players. I am looking to run another 5e game on Sunday's at 9pm CDT. I generally run for about 3-4 hours. The campaign itself will run from 1st to around 12th level(this can vary depending on actions taken). Players will start at level one, PHB races(minus drow), and no artificers for class choices.  So to the meat of the game. The game is set in a homebrew world. The land is split between two separate land masses with primary travel between each being a set of ports on either side of the channel. Magic isn't as prevalent. The highest level spell a caster of the land would be able to cast is level 5, that goes for wizard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, or bard.  The three factions of the world are the Mage's College, the Temple, and the Monarchy. Each governs itself in a truce of sorts. None can dictate the others actions. Magic weapons and armor are contraband within the world, with the mage's college collecting and destroying said items.  The party will begin in the capital, Vilor, whether they lived there, traveling through, or hoping to find a different life. I have a world anvil page available for this world if you'd like to peruse it. Just send me a message here or my discord(brutusbear8). Homebrew Rules I will be using: HP : Everyone's health is a d8+Constitution mod across the board. Potions : Bonus action for yourself, Action for others Exhaustion : Each level of exhaustion gives a negative modifier of equal value to your roll. Six levels of exhaustion will kill you. Death Saves : Each time you are brought to death saves gives a level of exhaustion. Also during your death saves you are conscious. You can move at half speed or speak a short bit. Doing so makes your save at disadvantage. Alternatively you can make a single attack. but this will result in an automatic death save failure. Counterspell :  Instead of the spell working on spells of equal level or lower, the two casters would roll against each other. It would be a d20+Spellcasting modifier+Spell level. Feat: Players will begin with a free feat at first level
