The guardsman falls to his knees, arrows sticking from his armor. Scattered around him lay the bodies of his companions. A feeble moan rises from one of them. This was supposed to be a simple delivery. Drop off the goods and get paid. No one warned them. They weren’t prepared. Out of the darkness a pair of eyes flash green as the horde advances. A few weeks later… A new band of heroes are gathered at the Golden Wheel Tavern, coins in their pocket and a mission before them. The youngest son of Lord Eric Hightower is missing. Find him and bring him back. What happens when a band of adventurers fail? How do the plans they were supposed to stop move forward? What new threats rise up? Are you ready for the challenge?
