Issues with Dynamic Lighting barriers

Playing Curse of Strahd and using the pregenerated maps. On the basement of the death house, there are one way light barriers at the top of each of the staircases. And here's the problem. If the barriers are set to restrict movement, the one way light barriers prevent them from accessing the staircases and moving. However, if they're set to off, the players can phase their tokens through the walls. Anyone got a solution to this so they can go down the stairs but can't phase through the walls?

Preface: I don't have time to check the map.  I would remove the light barrier at the top of the staircase, perhaps replace it with a window or door so that it can be opened as needed. Alternately,  you can use the teleport script where when a token moves to the top of the staircase they step past the barrier.  Or you can manually move them across the barrier.
