Glad to hear it works for you. I would double check the hangout extension for it normally doesn't interfere but webclipper is one of the weird ones. I've heard some people claim webclipper doesn't interfere and other people claim it does.
OK - sorry for being silly, but there is a camera button on my google chrome bar and I had to select that and change the settings. Seems obvious, but when you are new, the obvious is sometime tricky. Maybe this post will help someone else...
