[LFP] [D&D5e] [Paid] [+18] Curse of Strahd: Horror Unbound!-A lvl 1-20 Campaign starting with expanded Curse of Strahd-Sundays 9pm CDT

~In a mist-bound realm,&nbsp; gloom and terror flow like water... A story told time and again soon meets its bitter end.~ SUMMARY In the stolen realm&nbsp; of Barovia, the Lord of Castle Ravenloft awaits the newest batch of playthings to torment, challenge, and eventually discard. However, unbeknownst even to him, things are different this time. Powers wrapped in shadow have grown tired of this stage-play, a new story must be told.&nbsp; This game is a level 1-20 long form campaign starting its first third in the Curse of Strahd Module, highly enhanced and expanded with homebrew content, character options, and new paths to take you through a tale as its never been told before.&nbsp; But what occurs... after Count Strahd Von Zarovich is defeated, if you can even manage it? Well, that story takes you far beyond the scope of Barovia, into the deeper realms of the Domains of Dread, where the Dark Powers, mysterious and duplicitous rule through their auxiliaries, the Dark Lords. Indeed, Strahd alone is not the only lieutenant of these ancient evils, yet so long as the Dark Powers wish it, each death he suffers is mere setback.&nbsp; But, Barovia and the lands like it were not always bound to this endless perdition. A task even more herculean than defeating a Vampiric Dark Lord lays in your future if you wish to bring a true end to this madness. Challenge the Darkness with your Light, or Show them all that you are a Monster far more terrifying than they! EXPERIENCE &amp; EXPECTATIONS&nbsp; This game is for anyone and everyone ready to delve into what Curse of Strahd could be, expanded not simply as a stand-alone adventure but the beginning of something even more grand. Whether you're an experienced player who has tried CoS before, or a beginner to D&amp;D itself, I will accommodate you and provide a unique experience which will entertain, captivate, and terrify.&nbsp; This is a Horror Game. Expect to be terrified just as often as you feel triumphant. Evils, new and old sit around every corner.&nbsp; The only expectations I have for my players, aside from code-of-conduct rules which will be discussed and decided Session 0, is that players who have run through CoS before either fully or partially, do not spoil any content for those who are new. Besides, many things may have changed since your last romp in Barovia... Changed for the terrifying! DETAILS &amp; CONTENT That may sound very cool, but what actually makes this game worth paying for? What sets it apart in finer details from a regular Curse of Strahd adventure? EXPANDED STORY: Right from the beginning, you will have new, altered and opened paths. Go places the original text never intended you to go, discover secrets and prepare yourself for the story continued! This tale doesn't simply end with a stake in the heart of one monster. BE THE HORROR:&nbsp; The lineages racial options such as Dhampir, Hexblood, and Reborn are not only allowed but encouraged. A few players will even be afforded the opportunity to play not foreigners, but -natives- of Barovia. Don't simply be a victim of the horrors, inflict some of your own with evocative and satisfying mechanics and a world which encourages becoming touched and changed by the misty-realm you find yourselves in! Gain optional unique homebrewed abilities for your efforts, should the group decide on allowing them Session 0.&nbsp; NEW TERRORS: Face monsters adapted from older editions of D&amp;D, never seen in 5th edition official content. Face new threats to strike your heart still, and send chills up your spine.&nbsp; BAROVIA RESSURECTED: Expansive and revamped travel rules and events for the land. explore without fear of mundanity or repetitiveness. New characters and side-tales aplenty, all accented with an extensive soundscape of effects and music, and new home-made maps for expanded or added areas.&nbsp; THIS IS YOUR NIGHTMARE: Do not feel as if this adventure could be the same without you, or with someone else. Extensive Session 0/0.5 experience to expand your character to a level of detail to your liking, and to give you personal stakes other than mere survival in this tale of Blood and Shadow. Perhaps the Mists of Barovia have claimed more than just you, perhaps you must not only escape, but find those things and people you hold dear which the Dark Powers have taken from you. You are the protagonists of this tale! A DREAD MASTER TO GUIDE YOU:&nbsp; Let not my arrogance match Lord Strahd's, but you receive a game hand-made and run by a DM with nearly ten thousand hours of experience running games on roll20, with untold time spent in other platforms and in real-play. A Dungeon Master with an appreciation for Cooperative Storytelling who will be your number one fan, and also a cruel director to offer challenges to your characters. At the end of the day, I want your characters to triumph over impossible odds, to suffer terrible curses and yet persevere, and above all, to tell an amazing story with like-minded people. META &amp; SCHEDULING This game is scheduled for 9:30pm CDT on Sunday Nights. We take one Sunday each month off to allow for time for DM to prepare content, check in, and also to decompress!&nbsp; If two or more players are unavailable for Session, we cancel for the night and all payments are either refunded or carried forward to next session upon preference. If this occurs, it counts as the Off-Day for the month, unless people made plans before-hand for a different sunday.&nbsp; Homebrew Classes and Races disallowed, but during Session 0 we'll discuss houserules and the potentiality of homebrew abilities and bonuses which would be gained in-play. Houserules are negotiated and chosen on group preference.&nbsp; Common Houserules typically used by me include... -Bonus Action Potion Chug. -Flanking Active -Counterspelling declaration BEFORE you know what spell is being cast, unless you have a Passive Arcana which hits a DC of 10+ the spells inherent level. Three of the six player slots have filled! One is interested in playing a Shifter Barbarian, and another is playing a Harengon fighter. The last is undecided.&nbsp;&nbsp; Class overlap is fine as long as characters are distinct from each other.&nbsp;
