Auras don't work without a grid

Hey. As the title says. You can't set up auras on tokens without a grid. I'm a gm who likes to run gridless combat but this issue is pretty big and stopping me from running gridless properly I found a bug report of this same issue 5 years ago but I'm guessing it's broken again.

I used an aura on tokens in my 13th Age game on Thursday with no problems. I’ve just used an aura in that game to check. The grid is turned off in all my 13th Age battle maps, of course.  You should use the Help Center to get staff attention and a ticket number for your issue. It’s mostly community help here. 

Hi Tofu,  As Andrew R. stated, your best bet when reporting a bug to the Devs is to contact the Devs via the Help Center  as this forum is primarily for users helping users.  With that said, I was not able to replicate the problem. Could you provide some steps to replicate the issue?  What I did:  I created a new game Created a new character Dragged the character from the Journal tab to the table Set up the aura Then I turned off the grid.  I also went the other way.  I turned off the grid Created a new character Dragged the character from the Journal tab to the table (character's token came in massively oversized, that is an issue) Set up the aura. 

Auras don't show if the Token is on the MAP layer, so be sure the token is on the Token layer during your Set-up so you can see the aura. 

I tried to make a new room and test it there and even if I set the aura to 1500 or something ridiculus it doesn't work. I'm gonna file a help ticket as well. I was just hoping someone knew an easy fix

It also might help to identify if you are on classic or Jumpgate.
