Gameplay on a tablet

How is Roll20 when using a tablet as a player? I know there is support features for subscribers. My only option for the foreseeable future is playing on a tablet. Any my tablet using veterans out there that can give their experiences and suggestions when using their tablets. Also include the type of tablet/operating system. Thanks in advance, I'm really needing guidance here.
