Macro or API for pausing game?

One of my players is having a hard time speaking up. Are there any macros out there or API that could help with this problem? That could maybe write something in the chat in big bold letters requesting to have their turn to speak. Or maybe something that would pause the game so that everyone can have their turn to discuss a course of action?

I don't know if this will actually work for your situation, but it is an API Mod script that is designed-intended for exactly that. Take a look. it's called Hands Up and is in the One-Click for Mods to install on your game, and the explanation of how it works is there. Additionally, in my games I use Color Emote mod, which lets Players type a colorful bold message into Chat. I set it to show the Character's token along with the text. My players don't necessarily use it to get attention (although it works for that too), they use it more to carry-on a side conversation in Text even while others are using voice. Color Emote is also in the One Click mods.
Something like this? [**PAUSE**](#" style=" color: white; background-color: darkgreen; display: block; text-align: center; font-size: 20px; padding: 30px; text-decoration: none; cursor: wait; border: 3px solid white) Insert whatever text you like where "pause" is.
