IN D&D5e all the newer races have floating ability scores, with the following instruction: Ability Score Increase:
When determining your character's ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy. However if you activate the slider to "customize your origin" to use the Tasha's optional rule, this text disappears. I don't know if it is intentional or an oversight but having an option to correctly implement the Tasha's custom origin while not messing with the newer races floating ASI description would be appreciated.
