Is there a Feedback option for errors in NPC Sheets ?

Simply said : I am deeply unhappy with the DnD 5e content I can purchase with DDB , and tested purchasing future content with Roll20 instead. And I prefer Roll20, but am also frustrated that again and again I encounter small, avoidable bugs ? Specifically : Compendium entries with missing stats, missing or incomplete sheets, and missing or broken tokens. Example : Pull up the "beloved" Bullywugs, pls  - Bullywug Brute : Sheet broken, token only available in preview, not inGame, and entry available in search option, but not listed in the overview for the MonManExtended - Bullywug Witchdoctor, Swampstalker and Chieftain are ok ( also feedback : ) "standard" basic sheet for a Bullywug missing Why ?  This is careless, makes all my prep work complicated again, and simply shows a missing interest in your own product ? Similar issues appear in other MonMan entries: sometimes only a missing token pic, sometimes simply a handout with the Mob stats but no sheet set and so on. So - is there a feedback option, or will you at least allow community members to forward corrections and suggestions to remove these glitches from the compendium ? It is FRUSTRATING ! Well met, Skua

Hi Skua! I tested the monsters you indicated. Here are the results I got: Bullywug Brute (MME) Sheet is visible (if you can specify what is broken, I can test for that) Token is in game, both on sheet and on table If you can specify where you are looking at the overview for the MME, I can test that (i.e. in-game or external compendium. Bullywug (MM) Sheet is visible (if you can specify what is broken, I can test for that) Token is in game, both on sheet and on table Here are some things to check which may be the root cause of what you are seeing on your end. 1) Check your game for duplicates. If there is a damaged, or homebrew version of say, the Brute, any subsequent compendium drag will only place a copy of the version already in your game, not a fresh compendium version. This behavior is there to prevent overwriting local variations (homebrew). Be sure to check the in-game archive when looking for duplicates. Eliminating an existing duplicate should allow the proper one to be dragged in from the compendium. 2) If you are not seeing a creature that you expect to see from a source you own, check the sharing settings of the game, and make sure that source is enabled. 3) Test by dragging any suspect creatures into a brand new test game. If they function properly there, you are probably dealing with one of the problems above. If you can verify that the issue is indeed with the original and not the local copy, then look up the publisher of the source. MM is converted by the Roll20 team, and you can report issues with a  Help Center Request . This is by far the best way, as it will generate a ticket. The next time someone does a pass through the Monster Manual, your ticket will show and indicate the need to investigate or fix. MME is created by Dragonix. YOu can find some contact information on their website . In neither case will a forum thread reach the proper parties reliably. However, i f you need any further testing or confirmation of an issue, please feel free to reach out here. There are usually several people who are happy to double check.

Thank you, that was helpful. I will test a bit and check for duplicates. I did transmogrify two games into one and have some duplicates, that might be the issue. I looked at the overlay in external compendium, and got less hits than inGame. As for the broken Bully Brute : I could see his statblock in the preview while looking for the mobs during setup for my homebrew game, but  the statblock did not translate to the actual sheet. The sheet contained the artwork and description in the bio, and was an empty sheet behaving like a fresh setup  in the character sheet tab itself, and only showed the "no icon" placeholder as I pulled the token into the game. I solved this by setting up the sheet manually as an NPC, and uploading a different pic as token. While the ability to modify and personalise NPC sheets directly in Roll20 is one of the major boons to the platform, it is also a tedious task , and the thing I enjoy the least during setup. By the way - if I pull up several Mobs per copy/paste : Is there a quick way to prevent the HP bar of being shared by all mobs using the same sheet ? As I improvise a lot on the fly, reacting to PC shenanigans, I tend to pull up a lot of tokens quickly ( one of the reasons I love to have a growing compendium database ) - and I always forget ( or simply dont have the time ) to set them up as single sheets. Due to this I often have the issue that marking their hitpoints in the green HP bar reduces HP for all the tokens sharing that sheet and work around it by using the empty red bar as damage received and the green bar as max hp. This works, but is no elegant solution. I am a storyteller , no scripter ;-)

For the linking, either link the hp bar and then immediately unlink, leaving the values, or just input the values manually. Then save that as the default token . This is an old video, but it shows the concept. Roll20TnT Linking Tokens and Journals To have this happen automatically on a fresh token drag, set your settings like this:

As for the malformed statblock, if it's not a duplicate, it could be caused by lag somewhere along the way.Once you make sure the sheet is set for an NPC, you can drag the bullywug compendium entry over the open sheet. That will fill in the proper values. You should never have to manually create a statblock for a creature in your compendium.
