Looking for critical role fans that might want to play along with the campaign 3 vibe of NPCs that become adventurers AAAAAND looking at experimenting with the new D&D 2024 Players Handbook rules. I'm particularly interested in the newer crafting rules. I was thinking what would it be like to start back in campaign 1 and the Chroma Conclave attack on Emon as simple craft people with just "JOBS" and what it would be like as a crafter person to be thrust into this situation and become something different than just a person with a job that doesn't involve roaming around and fighting random monsters. Full disclosure, I love creating characters and have created A LOT over the years but I dont' get to play them. As we all know getting a group together and someone willing to take up DM mantle is hard. I just recently started trying to learn more DMing for my son who mostly just loves the insane collection of minis I have. But I'm still very much a beginner there and more a dungeon crawl creator. I love a lot of aspects of D&D though and would very much like to try something new and explore a new character. Just kinda curious if anyone else out there is interested. Some ideas I have for this include: Craft people NPC-like characters The attack on Emon The falling airship (campaign 1 ep 40, if your interested...) Building/crafting a method of escape Exploring creative ways of using Crafting Further disclosure, this idea started with me designing an airship and thinking about all the fun things an artificer or wizard can make. Because Matt has said that you can craft & enchant things in his world. More futher disclosure this was written after a glass (or two of an adult beverage), maybe that gives you a kind of vibe for the person I am and the type of people I'm trying to put together! :D Anyway, hope everyone on here finds the groups they are looking for even if my ideas are not your cup of tea! Also this is kind of my first time trying to get back into D&D and putting it out there that I wish to find a group of people to play with online. Whether it be here or on anything else, new platforms or old I don't really care, I just really want to play more D&D.
