QoL - Images and Backgrounds

Hello, I'd to suggest a few things. 1. Stop having images resize to randomly smaller sizes. If my image is 1024 x 1024 for instance, when I import it in, please let it stay at the same size. Having to resize every image is annoying and time consuming. 2. Fit to canvas option. If I bring in an image, allow me to simply right click it and tell it to fit to the map layer. That way, I don't have to have the grid on, resize the image, snap it to the grid, then go back and turn the grid off. 3. Another version of this is for example when I import an image, give me an option to tell R20 to automatically fit my image to the canvas as the map layer or resize the canvas to the image.
Do you mean when dragging an image on to the map? If you hold alt while dragging, the image won't get be scaled to the cell size, and you can use the set dimensions option to fit images to canvas size - and vice versa, having the image dimensions, set the canvas dimensions to match. But, having an option to have that be done automatically would be nice.

Assuming these are the maps being that large?  If so, if you are on the map layer and add them, I always get a pop up asking if I want to adjust the page size or fit to page.  I simply don't choose either option, click the X to close it, and it gets added at normal size then I can put it however you want.  If the canvas is the size you want, the fit to page does the work for you.  This only pops up if you are on the map layer first.
